Proverbs 31 | 45-Week Study | Intro - Start Here

Proverbs 31 | 45-Week Study | Intro - Start Here

Today the LORD called me to read Proverbs 31 and gave me 45 bullet points of what a "Proverbs 31 woman" is for any one who is also looking for Bible Study material on the Proverbs 31 woman.

The Holy Spirit has led me to make it a resource for any one who wants to study this scripture in the Bible.

This is meant to be a 45-week study, looking at one bullet point a week.

I can't sit here and say I'm a professional in the Bible, I'm simply a craftswoman, homeschooling mama and wife, one who is desiring the presence of the LORD more, trying to understand my own Biblical womanhood and Biblical femininity... I'm learning alongside you my gal. But I know God has revealed something special here for women to know. I want to provide those messages to anyone who's seeking them.

The LORD has made it known this is for women to come together and understand what it means to be a Proverbs 31 woman so that we can understand our true identity in Him. My hope is that everyone would feel invigorated and refreshed. I truly believe God will bring the women that need to find one another here so that we would uplift and encourage one another.

By the end of the year may we all:

  • know our value

  • find our craft

  • make new friends

  • understand ourselves on a deeper level

  • build new habits and rhythms

Please see the purple graphic below which shows all the bullet points that were revealed to me today. We will study one each week. I'm excited to meet you and for you to become a Gal Gal (Galatian Gal).

So let me just start here... Hiiiii!!!

I'm Steph. Before you start this study, hopefully with me - find me on Instagram/TT/Youtube OR even easier, leave me your handle to find you...

As I've read through Proverbs 31, and taken to social media to read comments, I want all woman to understand...

I am not a professional Bible teacher, I'm simply a follower of Jesus seeking to know the LORD more and be in his presence.  I want you to know, I'm learning right along side you. This is a deep dive into the 45 bullet points the LORD revealed to me, but I want more than anything to hear your own revelations and insights from the Holy Spirit.

Are we striving for perfection?

I don't know about you, but when I read through proverbs 31, I truly feel a level of perfectionism that is UNATTAINABLE (and a generational curse I'm trying to personally break (perfectionism)).

Like what, I'm supposed to be the perfect wife, mother, business woman, and do all the things while everyone is sleeping, and I'm not getting any sleep, but instead taking care of everyone else without time for myself, and in all honesty, as a mother of two toddlers, I'm already going crazy most days... and now God is telling me that I'm supposed to be even more... all I can see when I read this is all that I'm not doing. That I'm supposed to be doing more, all while being respectful, and hardworking, and diligent, and creative, and business minded, and cleaning, and cooking, and doing the housework and the sewing and doing all the things with my hands, and also be working out and looking cute and... how is this all possible and how can this all fall onto one person? I don't want this job.

First off, I truly believe most callings from the LORD, our flesh doesn't want. lol.

But secondly, I want to invite you not to feel like you have to be a perfect person. That we are not called to perfectionism. I don't believe that's what the LORD is saying through his Word, at all.

PV31 is insight into your divine feminine potential

Instead, I think it's an intentional invitation to show you just how much potential he has knitted in you. That he has literally knitted you in your mother's womb to be a Proverbs 31 woman, and these verse truly show your divine capability if you are open enough to receive them.

His grace is more than enough for us. We are worthy and valued because he created us. Our works isn't what saves us, but our works is what saves our family (in this world).

Modern Biblical Womanhood

I know through reading a lot of comments, women also stated that this is just a trend and it's blown up and blow out of proportion and not all women fall into these bullet points. I want to say, I have to respectfully disagree.

While I can agree, maybe not all women are called to cook, they are called to nourish. So my hope is together we can look at these points in a creative way and ask for the Holy Spirit to truly reveal to us what each point means. How it pertains to modern Biblical womanhood in this century and how we can live our lives as Proverb 31 women which ultimately glorifies Jesus. That's the true goal. For our actions and words to be aligned with being more Christ-like, especially in our household which is what we are shaping every single day.

So may God bless us all through this 45-week study. May we find our craft, our potential, our divine capabilities that only he can sustain through his Divinity. We are not called to do it all on our own. We are truly meant to ask our LORD for his supernatural strength and abilities, to strengthen our faith, and to exist in a world that wants to snuff out his magic.

I'm so happy you're here and I can't wait to meet you on instagram or in the comments or even hopefully if there's enough of us who are looking for true community to do life together, just like Jesus did with his disciples, we can meet in a Band or Telegram or even IRL, we'll see how the Holy Spirit leads us when the time is right. My prayer is other women who are seeking God, genuine connection & community find this page and actually join me somewhere, online, in person, wherever, so that we would build actual friendships, however that looks like.

Thank you for being here!
